SCBA's focus is to increase awareness of honeybees and their importance in our world through a collective of beekeepers and enthusiasts who gather regularly to exchange information, knowledge and ideas thus strengthening and supporting their communities.
Throughout the year SCBA attends events, festivals and other community gatherings to educate the public on bees and beekeeping. We have several members that generously provide observation hives at these events where the public can get an "up-close" look at the bees busy inside, nurturing brood, building comb, and attending the queen.
