Speakers & Demonstrations
SCBA is fortunate to have a wealth of knowledge among it's members. Monthly meetings have guest speakers and sometimes panels to discuss current events and techniques in the beekeeping world. The association is proud of the vast experience and talent of the speakers that it hosts, and invite you to attend an upcoming meeting or event.

In addition to providing speakers during meetings, SCBA also hosts a booth and observation hive at several community events throughout the year. Volunteers that work during events are available to answer questions and share beekeeping information. A few members keep observation hives and generously share them during the events, these hives have plexiglass walls that enable the viewer to watch bees in progress as they go about the business of hive building, making wax, honey and if you are lucky - hold court with the Queen.
